Which Houseplants Are Toxic to Cats and Dogs?
Many popular houseplants — including pothos, philodendron, monstera, peace lily, dieffenbachia and aloe — are toxic to pets if chewed, usually causing mouth irritation, drooling or vomiting.
Truly pet-safe choices include spider plants, calatheas, prayer plants, parlor and areca palms, ponytail palms, African violets and most true ferns.
